Book Report

HEARTS Hits the Big Thyme!
We're happy to report that Bleeding Hearts made the New York Times extended bestseller list last month, and was Numero Uno on the Independent Mystery Bookstore Association's bestseller list for April. Thanks to all China's loyal fans for your support of the fourteenth Pecan Springs mystery novel!
Miss Potter's Tea Party
The Tale of Cuckoo Brow Wood (the third book in Susan's Cottage Tales series) will be published in early July—and July 28 is Miss Potter's 140th birthday! To celebrate, China and Ruby are hosting a tea party. To see how they're celebrating, go to mysterypartners.com/Beatrix, then click on "Miss Potter's Tea Party." And stay tuned for more fun. There'll be a contest next month.
Book Orders
If you're ordering books through the Mystery Partners website, you'll notice a change. Effective immediately, the Alberts' autographed books will be sold by the Story Circle Network, which will receive the profits from the book sales. Since the mass market paperbacks are so widely available, SCN will be selling only the hardcovers. For ordering details, go here: mysterypartners.com/order.html. (If you have an order outstanding from the Hill Country Bookstore, it will be filled in the normal way.)

Susan's tour was nothing short of fabulous, thanks to all the terrific tour hosts and everyone who pitched in to make the events so successful. She was even crowned Queen of the May at the Buffalo Springs Herb Farm! Check out the photos here (and get a load of those beauties in Susan's May Queen's Court): mysterypartners.com/tourpix.
