The Cottage Tales Blog Tour
Susan is off and running (virtually speaking) on her blog tour, which started yesterday, Nov. 5, with a kick-off post at Poe's Deadly Daughters. If you've never heard of a blog tour, you'll find full details and a schedule here. We're holding a drawing for every blog visit, and a grand prize drawing at the end, so there will be plenty of chances to win a free copy of The Tale of Hawthorn House. (Of course, if you don't want to wait, you can always get your own signed copy. Ordering information is here.)
Story Circle Publishes Kitchen Table Stories
It's here, just in thyme for Christmas gifting: Kitchen Table Stories, stories and recipes contributed by Story Circle members and edited by Jane Ross. There's Grandma Morton's chicken and dumplings (first you've got to catch the chicken), instructions for "throw-together" Saturday suppers, tips for making good Polish pierogi, and Susan's grandmother's recipe for pickled eggs. You can buy your copy and others for gifts from Susan's website, where your purchases help to support the Story Circle Network.
Book Review Site Relaunched
In case you missed the recent announcement, the Story Circle Book Review site has been completely renovated. The site is now the largest and most comprehensive women's book review sites on the Internet. If you love women's books and enjoy sharing them with others, Susan (one of the site's three editors) invites you to join the review team. Read, write, share—it's easy, and a good way to add to your publishing portfolio. There are full details on the site.
